THE EXTRAORDINARY PLAYERS PERFORMANCES ON MAY 3 AND 4TH HAVE ROCKED THE FULLHOUSE AT ASU FARTHING AUDITORIUM. The comments that are pouring in are amazing, awesome, exciting, unbelievable, beautiful, endearing, proud…all aimed at the talented cast of 55 that performed their very best characterizations throughout the 2 hour show. From the awesome black lit opening drum show Sand Storm to the battle scene with lost kids and pirates, with a happlily ever after ending at the Darling home…….it was all great and believable. From the youngest audience member to the oldest the after show talk was all positive and exciting. Extraordinary Players have demonstrated to their audiences that anything is possible with a lot of hard work, determination, dedication to fulfilling an obligation, and working together as a team. Congratulations, Players , on an award winning show. Without an imagination you will go nowhere, but with it you can go to worlds that never were. WE did it!

Mr. Carver and I are very excited about what you all are capable of doing on stage and acting during the practices. Please take this time to prepare yourselves for long, busy days getting ready to rock the full house at Farthing Auditorium. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have this opportunity to showcase your talents to lots of people. Make the best of it. Please stay healthy, get rest, and get your homework and classwork caught up. We love you and are so proud of what you have accomplished this year with such a hard script and storyline.

Mr. Carver and I are requesting that everyone will have all lines memorized and/or have come to me to ask for help in eliminating some lines. If you are having trouble memorizing the lines, I need to know now so that I can help you out. The entire cast relies on your commitment and help to make this as successful as WE KNOW IT CAN with the talent you ALL have.

We are learning that smaller, more concentrated practices are the best teaching and learning tools for us. Therefore, it is important that each player knows the schedule so that he/she will be prepared and present for the practices. We have little time to accomplish all that we want to do to make this a GREAT ADVENTURE FOR ALL THAT WATCH US AND ALL THAT PERFORM IN IT. New dances will be taught at each practice so if you are not present you will not be able to dance, the same goes with acting, and singing. Everyone relies on each other for the cues, characerizations, and confidence. Please make sure you are the one lending the helping hand to a struggling player. It takes all of us together to make this poject ready by May 3. Costumes are being created, tried on, and altered. Props are being built and gathered. Music discs have been recorded and passed out to singers and dancers. Brochures have been distributed, posters are being created, and schools have signed up to COME SEE US PERFORM. It is up to YOU, Players, to make this STORY COME ALIVE> I NEED A STORY!
